Pelesys Aviation Maintenance Training (Pelesys), in cooperation with GlennCo Aviation Training (GlennCo), has supplied International Aerospace Coatings (IAC) with B777 General Familiarization (Gen Fam) training for its maintenance staff in Victorville, California.
The training leveraged the concept of blended learning. By combining an initial computer-based self-study module with teaching from an instructor, time in the classroom was reduced to two days. Progress of the computer-based training was monitored using Pelesys’ Learning Management System and required completion of an associated workbook prior to entering the classroom.
Pelesys’ target is for any customer to receive a detailed Customer Package, including certificates, course critiques, attendance records and more within a maximum 48-hour window following a course’s completion.
