Simthetiq’s X2 Visual System, powered by the aXion image generator, has been qualified to Level D as part of the world’s first Twin Otter Level D full flight simulator owned and operated by Pacific Sky Aviation.
The simulator has been certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and Transport Canada. Using Simthetiq’s X2 Visual System, it offers features including Simthetiq’s proprietary dynamic 3D water, which enables multiple seaplane training options such as take-offs and landings in a wide range of sea states, winds and water conditions.
The Level D compliant X2 Visual System has now been qualified on over 50 flight simulation training devices (FSTDs) worldwide. It will be on display at the World Aviation Training Summit (WATS) in Orlando from 17-19 April 2018.
