L3 Commercial Training Solutions (L3 CTS) has entered a new training agreement with WOW air to deliver recurrent training for the carrier’s A320 and A330 pilots over the next three years.

The agreement will cover the majority of the airline's air’s training requirements by providing simulator services, type rating and Cross Crew Qualification (CCQ) training.

Ragnhildur Geirsdottir, Chief Operating Officer at the Icelandic airline, said, “Training is one of the most important elements for the safety and quality of our airline business. The success of this agreement is key to us and important for us to be able to continue to grow our airline.” The agreement commences immediately and means WOW air will be one of the first customers to use the new Headquarters for L3 CTS, the L3 London Training Center, which is due to open late 2018.

The new L3 London Training Center will be equipped with eight RealitySeven full flight simulators, fixed-based simulators, briefing rooms and classrooms.
