On 24 April, the Royal Aeronautical Society hosts ‘Human Performance of Pilots – the Next 40 Years’ in partnership with the International Pilot Training Association (IPTA). The full conference programme can be viewed here.

It is over 40 years since the birth of Human Performance (HP) and during that time, the aviation industry has led the world by advancing our understanding of HP, most notably for pilots. Safety critical industries have continued to expand the collective knowledge of HP, while the aviation industry has evolved, exposed to new threats and challenges with forecasts for unprecedented growth.

Sponsored by Aegean Airlines, this year’s IPTA conference addresses the need and the opportunities to progress HP in aviation with the goal of establishing a road-map for the next 40 years. Join industry professionals from across the world for presentations, discussion sessions and workshops and help shape the agenda for future work in this critical area.
