Oman Air has graduated the first batch of multi-crew pilot license (MPL) cadets as the trainees completed all phases of the Boeing 737 Type Rating training.
"The graduation of the first batch of MPL cadets is an important step in the evolution of the programme to match the requirements of the global aviation environment," said Ali Sulaiman, executive vice president, Oman Air.
Oman Air earlier announced its adoption of a MPL, which is the first license of its kind in the Sultanate in close coordination with the Public Authority for Civil Aviation.
The programme was designed to suit the needs of Oman Air training in accordance with international and Public Authority for Civil Aviation regulations related to approved pilot training curriculums.
