Peach Aviation Limited established the Peach Pilot Challenge Program for training pilots with Airbus in cooperation with the ANA Group, Airbus and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC). The program makes it possible for successful applicants to obtain the necessary licenses to become an airline pilot through a pilot training program selected by Peach, with the support of All Nippon Airways (ANA) Group.

The two-part training program first has pilots train for the EASA License (issued by countries that are members of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in Europe and then train for the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) license in Japan.

The training in Europe takes about one year and eight months and is provided by L3 Commercial Training Solutions (CTS) Airline and Academy Training Limited (I New Zealand and England). Pilot challenge trainees who complete the training obtain a European commercial pilot license and instrument flight rating certificate. While trainees foot the bill for the EASA license training, Peach does provide a challenge allowance that can be used for costs such as living expenses during the training and with the support of SMBC, Peach offers a Training Expense Support Loan that helps trainees cover the expenses for the EASA license.

Trainees successful in the first half of employees become employees of Peach, and begin the second half of their training that takes place in Japan, the costs of which are covered by Peach. The training in Japan is conducted by Honda Airways and lasts eight months, during which trainees receive the academic and practical training to switch their license to a Japanese license.

Applications are being accepted until Wednesday, 5 September 2018 at https://recruit.flypeach.com/.
