FTD.aero has won a contract to LOT Crewfor an FNPT II APS MCC flight simulator (equivalent FAA level 5).
Cpt. Jerzy Makula, CEO of LOT Crew states: “The simulator that will be delivered by FTD.aero will be used as a procedures and cockpit familiarisation trainer, vastly improving capability and quality of the next steps of the training process, continued on FFS Simulators. The FTD.aero simulator will be also utilized in all non-type related activities, like pilot screenings, airplane familiarisation during Operator Conversion Course (OCC), airport and route familiarisation, mainly for pilots operating on B737 fleet.”
The FNPT II APS MCC Simulator is a fixed-basetraining device, replicating twin engine, mid-size airliner, where new enhancedMulti Crew Cooperation training (MCC) to airline pilot standards (APS MCC) canbe completed in a realistic environment and with SOPs as in a real commercialairplane.
