L3 Commercial Aviation has been selected by Aer Lingus to provide Full Flight Simulator (FFS) training at the newly developed L3 London Training Center at Gatwick in the U.K.
The new two-year agreement will provide Aer Lingus with more than 2,000 hours of simulator availability on the latest state-of-the-art L3 RealitySeven devices to support the airline’s recurrent training program and recruitment strategy.
Eamon Kierans, training manager at Aer Lingus said, “The support they provide will play an important role in increasing our pilot training capacity, in line with our fleet expansion and ensuring that we continue to offer our pilots the highest-quality training.”
The training will take place at L3’s new London Training Center. As well as an extensive range of high-end training devices, the modern facility includes classrooms and briefing rooms that provide a contemporary and progressive training environment for both aspiring and experienced pilots.
