New-managing-director-at-Micro-Nav

The current Managing Director of Micro Nav, Stephen Williams, has been appointed to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Quadrant Group, the parent company of Micro Nav. Williams has been managing director of Micro Nav since 2014, and will step up to his new role after a short handover period with the current CEO of Quadrant.

As part of this organisational development, Greg Pile is appointed to managing director of Micro Nav in effect from 1 July 2019, in succession to Williams.

Pile previously held the role of operations director at Micro Nav. He has a wealth of experience in ATC simulation, both as a supplier and a customer, over the past 18 years. He graduated with a baccalaureate from the Swiss International School in Bern, and then qualified as a commercial pilot.

He then changed his career towards technology and became a simulator manager at skyguide, and has been involved with air traffic control simulation and training since 2001. He had a spell as training manager with Micro Nav before moving to Dubai to take on the role of head of Operational Technology in the Serco Middle East ATM division.

Prior to rejoining Micro Nav, Pile held a series of senior management and leadership roles at dans, the Air Navigation Service Provider in Dubai, and consulted for NATS’ commercial operations in the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions.
