Florida Hospital East Orlando Simulation Center is hosting a Simulation Showcase with speakers, medical simulation equipment and technology from leading manufacturers on April 4, 2018. Speakers will include Mindi Anderson PhD, ARNP, CPNP-PC, CNE, CHSE-A, ANEF, Director of Nursing and Health Care Simulation at the University of Central Florida/Users/katerinamaurtua/Downloads/florida hospital simulation.jpg (UCF) and one of only 22 certified advanced health care simulation educators in the world.

With a wide array of research experience in medical simulation, Anderson will discuss the value of simulation in healthcare, her simulation research and educational experiences, and highlights of UCF’s Healthcare Simulation Program. She will also discuss the importance of inter-professional education through simulation, and the future of medical simulation. Other speakers include leaders from Florida Hospital Medical Simulation and Training Team, who will discuss the institution’s Shared Services and resources, and the impact simulation has had within Florida Hospital.

The exhibition will highlight representatives and products from Limbs and Things, VCom3D, TraumaFx, Laerdal, CAE Healthcare, and Sharecare.

All clinical professionals, educators, simulation enthusiasts and technology developers are invited to attend this free, simulation showcase event, which will take place at Florida Hospital’s Center for Medical Simulation and Training at 7727 Lake Underhill Road Orlando, FL 32822.
