Matrox Graphics released the Matrox Mura IPC 4K DisplayPort capture and IP encode/decode cards. The dual DisplayPort 1.2 capture boards feature 4K60 full color support to give systems integrators and OEMs the ability to seamlessly capture, encode, stream, record and decode demanding 4K and 60-frames-per-second (4K60) content.

Available in passive and active cooling options, the latest Mura IPX cards feature two full-size DisplayPort 1.2 connectors to natively capture 4K60 baseband sources, while the network connector enables the encoding and decoding of up to two 4Kp60, four 4Kp30, eight 1080p60, sixteen 1080p30, or exponentially more SD streams.

“The new Mura IPX cards further enhance our industry-renowned philosophy, which is to make video wall designs easy with multi-functional, multi-dimensional, single-slot boards,” said Fadhl Al-Bayaty, product manager, Matrox Graphics Inc. “We’re conscious of the challenges that our customers face—including the ever-evolving demands of 4K60 integration.”

The passive and active cooling Matrox Mura IPX 4K DisplayPort capture and IP encode/decode cards will be available in Q2 2018.
