The training centers will be solely focused on thedevelopment of future airline pilots. Starting from zero experience, studentsat both locations can earn their pilot certification in nine months through theAirline Career Pilot Program. This airline career solution provides aspiringpilots in the area with the training resources and airline connections neededto become an airline pilot at a fixed cost, in the shortest time framepossible.

ATP’s fleet of 398 aircraft will support San Antoniooperations, with Airline Career Pilot Program students training in Cessna 172Skyhawks, Piper Archers, and multi-engine Piper Seminoles. The school is also acceptingdeliveries of aircraft from Piper and Cessna throughout 2020. These newaircraft will provide students with a reliable platform to keep their trainingon-time and  equips them with the latestin glass-cockpit technology.

The Colorado Springs location will compliment ATP’s existingoperations in Boulder and Centennial, and students at this location will flyATP’s Cessna 172 Skyhawk aircraft, which feature the Garmin G1000 NXielectronic flight deck. Part of a 2019 fleet order for up to 100 new aircraft, each Skyhawk is maintained by ATP in nearby Centennial.

Students graduating from both locations can benefit from ATPpartnerships with over 20 U.S. airlines. Most recently, ATP announced apartnership with Denver-based United Airlines, where students have theopportunity to join a tailored accelerated path to the airline.

In conjunction with ATP’s training, these agreements providegraduates with up to $17,500 in airline-paid tuition reimbursement andaccelerated career tracks to the major airlines. For example, ATP students canchart their path to American Airlines through the Envoy Air Cadet program or,with ATP’s United Airlines partnership, can take advantage of a tailored, direct career path to the airline.
