Swiss ATO Aero Locarno has chosen the Sonaca 200 to complete and renew its fleet of training aircraft.
Aero Locarno chose Sonaca Aircraft's two-seater single-engine aircraft.
"The Sonaca 200 clearly stands out from the crowd," said Stefano Buratti, Aero Locarno CEO. "With its aluminum structure, the Sonaca 200 is a robust and easy-to-repair trainer aircraft."
Aero Locarno is a member of the Swiss Pilot School Association. Its training capacity has more than doubled in the last two years under new management. It has nine airplanes, and one professional fixed based simulator.
Aero Locarno are Sonaca Aircraft’s first Swiss customer. Pierre Van Wetter, Chief Commercial Officer of Sonaca Aircraft said it was a good partnership.
"The engine and high rates of climb are particularly well suited to mountain flying, regardless of the aircraft's payload,” he said
