Great Dane Airlines Awards Avsoft Pilot Training Solution

Great Dane Airlines A/S, a charter operator based in Aalborg, Denmark, has awarded Avsoft International a long-term contract for online pilot training.

Great Dane Airlines is using Avsoft’s Embraer 195 aircraft systems online course for initial type rating and annual recurrent pilot training.

The ability of Avsoft’s Portable Classroom app to deliver training online or offline on an iPad was an important factor in the selection, as it allows training to be independent of internet connection. Another aspect of the selection was the tracking of initial type training results for pilots joining the airline from an ATO and maintaining competency records throughout their career to satisfy Danish Transport Authority regulatory requirements.

The E195 initial and recurrent courses are being delivered via Avsoft’s proprietary LMS (AvLMS), which provides comprehensive reporting facilities to administer all aspects of course and exam structure, as well as flexible training options to meet varying pilot training needs.
