Avsoft Develops Aviation First Aid Course

In-flight medical emergencies are inevitable and manifest in many forms, from mild bouts of airsickness to severe life-threatening situations. Professional air crew members must have proper first aid knowledge and be prepared to deal with any type of medical emergency that could occur during a flight. It is because of this important safety training need that Avsoft has developed an Aviation First Aid online course for flight crew and cabin crew recurrent training.

This online aviation course includes 18 modules: Basic First Aid, Unconscious Passengers, Choking, Burns, Bleeding and Wounds, Soft Tissue Injuries, Fractures, Head Injuries, Dislocations, Asthma, Gastrointestinal Disturbances, Hypoxia and Hyperventilation, Heart Attack, Stroke, Shock and Stress Reactions, Seizures, Miscellaneous Cases (Airsickness, Diabetes, and Child Birth), and Onboard Medical Equipment. Each module concludes with a test, and when the course is successfully completed, a certificate is generated.
