Cat3C Limited based at Gloucester Airport in the UK has implemented a management restructure naming Nigel Orme as the new Managing Director and Accountable Manager.
Cat3C provides TKI (theoretical knowledge instruction) to student pilots working to obtain their ATPL along with UK CAA and Austro-Control exams.
Captain Tony ‘Taff’ Pike will move into the Operations Director role along with his position of Safety and Compliance Manager. Captain Bill Chivers continues as Head of Training and CTKI (Chief theoretical knowledge instructor).
Nigel Orme brings a depth of experience as former commercial pilot and instructor, Head of Sales for CAE and CEO for VA Airline Training. More recently Nigel founded the StratStep Group that focuses on both the aviation, training and technology sectors.
