British Airways and Longtail Aviation Partner

Following the recent retirement of British Airways’ 747 fleet of aircraft, Longtail Aviation International has purchased one of British Airways' Boeing 747-400 full flight simulators, helping its pilots continue their training and recency.

The simulator will remain at British Airways’ Global Learning Academy in London where its simulator engineering team will host, maintain and recertify it for both UK CAA and EASA qualification. The simulator, which has a Rolls Royce engine capability, and NGFMC, will also be available for hire by other airlines that operate the Boeing 747 aircraft.
