A letter from Hyeong Jung Yoon, President & CEO of Korea Airports Corporation

Hello,

It is my great pleasure and honor to invite you to the 2022 Asian Aviation Education and Training Symposium (AAETS) hosted by Korea Airports Corporation (KAC).

KAC is a public enterprise that constructs and operates 14 airports in South Korea. Since 2014, KAC has entered the aviation training field by building flight training facilities at domestic airports.

KAC’s commitment and contribution towards fostering talented pilots in Korea includes the Jet Transition Course launched in 2017 and the Sky Dream Foundation, a scholarship program for cadets, established in 2019.

AAETS, which marks its 5th anniversary this year, is an official event of the Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT), where aviation experts worldwide gather to exchange opinions on aviation training systems and technologies and to seek development strategies and directions.

In fact, AAETS has played a pivotal role in leading the aviation training field in Korea, providing substantial momentum and impact on the government's aviation policy development and introducing training technologies for airlines and educational institutions.

This year’s symposium will be held under the theme that embraces the introduction of advanced technologies, so as to reflect the needs of airlines and training institutions. The main topics include Evidence-Based Training and Assessment (EBTA), refresher and recurrent training, UAM and VR in pilot training, to provide a forum for sharing latest technologies and best practices in aviation training.

We would like to share this valuable opportunity with you in shaping the future of aviation training at AAETS.

We ask for your interest and participation in 2022 AAETS by welcoming everyone from all over the world.

Join us now.

Hyeong Jung Yoon
President & CEO
