IAF-JASDF-Transport-Aircraft-Train-Together

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has concluded Exercise Shinyuu Maitri with the Japan Air Self Defence Force (JASDF).

The training exercises involving transport aircraft from both air forces were organised on the side-lines of the Indo-Japan Joint Army Exercise, Dharma Guardian and took place on 1st and 2nd March.

A C-17 Globemaster III and JASDF C-2 transport aircraft participated in the exercises, which began with an initial phase of discussions on transport operations and tactical manoeuvring, followed by the second phase of flying drills.
