Micro Nav has been awarded a contract from NATS to provide BEST Tower and Radar simulation capabilities across Aberdeen, Glasgow, and Southampton airports.
The contract includes an upgrade of the existing BEST 2D Tower systems at Aberdeen and Glasgow airports to 3D tower simulator capability, as well as the provision of a completely new BEST 3D Tower simulator at Southampton airport.
“This is a significant endorsement of our technology and our ability to meet the needs of ATC training now and in the future,” said Greg Pile, Managing Director of Micro Nav. “We look forward to working with NATS to deliver these new capabilities and to help them ensure the safety and efficiency of air traffic control operations at these airports.”
