RSi Visuals unveiled its latest Level D Image Generator (IG) at the I/ITSEC 2023 conference, taking place now until 1 December. The NXT IG integrates new hardware and software architecture that enables advanced game rendering while leveraging COTS components.

With its system architecture, the NXT condenses the power of four multichannel computers into a single, omnichannel workstation. This streamlined design not only enhances performance, but also simplifies maintenance, reducing complexity and the number of parts requiring replacement. The result is a considerable reduction in the overall life cycle cost of the visual system.

NXT’s upgraded graphics API enables realistic atmospherics with light scattering combined with physics-based rendering for high fidelity, immersive training scenes.
