Applications are open for 2024 PPL Scholarships by the Honourable Company of Air Pilots (HCAP), offering funding for Private Pilot Licence training, including up to 45 hours of flight training, according to FTN.

Successful candidates will be interviewed in London in April 2024, and training is scheduled for summer 2024 at HCAP's approved flight schools across the UK.

The scholarships, available to individuals aged 17 and above, cater to those with little or no flying experience, and candidates encountering funding challenges in their ongoing PPL training.

Earlier this year, nine scholarships were awarded, covering training costs, with scholars required to fund their medical certificate and travel expenses.
