SunExpress has partnered with HAVELSAN for the supply of a Boeing B737NG flight training device (FTD Level II). The simulator is planned to be installed at the SunExpress Headquarters in Antalya by the end of 2024.

We will continue to invest in our pilot training infrastructure with advanced technology solutions,” said Max Kownatzki, SunExpress CEO.

SunExpress recently ordered up to 90 Boeing 737-8 and 737-10 aircraft and plans to double its fleet within the next decade, reaching 150 aircraft by 2033. The carrier plans to hire over 1500 new pilots by 2033 for its expanding fleet.
