TRU Simulation has secured a contract to provide advanced multi-engine aircraft training systems for the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard aviators.
For the past three weeks, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit Marines and Sailors showcased seamless collaboration as they integrated together to conduct rigorous training in complex, urban environments.
Followers of MS&T will recall the US Marine Corps’ focus on elevating its learning (training and education) enterprise in policy and beyond, with increased focused investments in these budget areas. One quickly evolving training system program being eyed for service use is the Marine Corps Training Instrumentation System.
This I/ITSEC’s Signature Event offered the opportunity for delegates and exhibitors to gain insights on training readiness priorities and observations from senior DoD leaders. To manage expectations early on, the session did not provide official requirements – yet, significantly, session attendees were able to gain broad insights on common threads and unique developments the US military training enterprises will see into the near future.
Kuwait 3.0 follows a series of bilateral, training exercises centered on building partnerships through subject matter expert exchanges, facilitating the exchange of tactics, techniques, and procedures between U.S. and Kuwaiti forces.
Exercise Northern Coast 2023 provided a great training environment and opportunity to fully integrate the U.S. Marines and Sailors' capabilities with the host nations’ logistical requirements. This year’s participants included: Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, and the United States.
Marty Kauchak, MS&T Editor, remotely joined the Sept. 21 Central Florida Tech Grove-hosted event “Roundtable with the PMs” featuring Colonel Marcus Reynolds, Program Manager for Training Systems (PM TRASYS) and his staff. As connectivity permitted, MS&T gained insights on important developments across the US Marine Corps training portfolio.
