Group Editor Marty Kauchak is a retired US Navy Captain, having served for more than 23 years in the surface warfare community. His insights and knowledge about training and simulation were gained through five operational assignments and major staff management positions. In addition to Marty’s military experience, he brings expertise as a former editor and writer for defence publications in the US and overseas. He also developed unique perspectives and knowledge about training during his time as congressional and media outreach coordinator for the US DoD’s Training Transformation Program. Marty is based in New Orleans.
