Dubé & Co, a Montréal-based management consulting and private equity firm, has announced the launch of AvTraining, a consulting and service business which provides aviation technical training solutions and training centre operation consulting services. Francis Clavette has been appointed to lead business development for AvTraining.
For aircraft Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) businesses and aircraft operators, the AvTraining portfolio encompasses aircraft initial and update technical training. It also provides instructor-led or computer-based solutions for specialized training, such as fuel tank safety, human factors and hazardous material as required by most regulators. These specific solutions will be incorporated in an integrated training management system.
For existing training centre operators, AvTraining provides consulting services for designing and managing facility modifications, improving the efficiency and profitability of operations, identifying outsourcing opportunities of technical operational activities and providing independent audit services. For new operators, it delivers consulting services such as turn-key design and project management for new training facility development, exposition manual and qualification preparation, interim personnel provisioning for key functions and best practices implementation plan.
