Norwegian Competence Centre Helicopter (NCCH) has been selected by the Norwegian Air Ambulance (NLA AS) for the delivery of a simulator and support services for H135 and H145 helicopters at Stavanger Airport Sola.
The simulator will be built by RST, and be a roll on/roll off full flight level D simulator to support NLA AS, and their pilots and HEMS crew members.
The simulators will support two helicopter platforms forming a world class training system in airborne emergency medicine, based on strict Norwegian demands from the governmental air ambulance service, including very strict requirements for a Norwegian database with embedded training scenarios for the entire helicopter crew.
The simulator at Stavanger Airport will be ready for training in April 2018.
