Organised by The Hong Kong Management Association, the event gives achievements in training and development public recognition while benchmarking best practices among the profession.
HKA's awards were in recognition of its Engineering License Trainee Programme, which aims to nurture young people towards become professional aircraft engineers. Claimed to be an industry-first, the fast-track programme consists of A and B modules: Aircraft technical knowledge and Business management, to train candidates to a higher professional standard.
Vitoo Zhang, VP Hong Kong Airlines, said, “Hong Kong Airlines is dedicated to providing an accelerated career path and diverse development opportunities for the younger generation, thus supporting the manpower demand and future growth of the aviation industry in Hong Kong.
“We encourage innovation and vigour in our company culture, and these awards recognise the hard work and commitment that we have put into producing the very best within the industry. I feel very proud of working alongside the best and the brightest,” Zhang continued.
