Türkiye-based flight simulator manufacturer HAVELSAN has six additional Airbus A320 family full flight simulators on order, adding to five units already in operation. All HAVELSAN-built A320 simulators currently in service have achieved European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) qualification.

Several airlines and training centers are evaluating HAVELSAN's A320 devices, including fly-outs to assess handling characteristics, fidelity and training capabilities. HAVELSAN is presenting its A320 family training solutions at the Asia Pacific Aviation Training Summit 2026, as airlines in the region expand their Airbus narrowbody fleets and training infrastructure.

The A320 simulators are part of HAVELSAN's STARLINE full flight simulator portfolio, backed by the company's engineering, maintenance and after-sales services. HAVELSAN says it is focused on long-term cooperation with customers beyond initial delivery, covering lifecycle support, maintenance, upgrades and financing options.

The orderbook growth comes as HAVELSAN prepares to increase simulator production capacity. In March 2026, the company broke ground on a new 17,000-square-meter Simulator Production and Integration Facility in Ankara. Due to enter service in 2027, the facility will allow HAVELSAN to produce more than 30 simulators a year and support simultaneous development and integration of up to 16 devices.

Combined with its existing Ankara infrastructure, HAVELSAN will have capacity for up to 40 commercial and military simulators at various stages of development, production and integration. HAVELSAN has deployed hundreds of flight simulators worldwide.

HAVELSAN is exhibiting at this year's APATS, happening now through 2 September. Visit booth 509 to learn more.
