Acron Aviation, exhibiting at APATS 2025, has received regulatory approval from the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) for its Airbus A320 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) at the Bangkok Training Center (BTC). The approval allows the center to deliver UK CAA-compliant pilot training in the Asia-Pacific region.

During the certification process, UK CAA inspectors noted the professionalism and technical standards demonstrated by the BTC team. David Coward, SVP & GM of Training Services at Acron Aviation, said: “The addition of this approval by the UK CAA marks a significant achievement for our Bangkok Training Center and underscores our dedication to providing world-class training solutions across a broad range of regulatory jurisdictions.”

The simulator strengthens the center’s ability to provide immersive, realistic training scenarios for pilots and complements other regulatory approvals held at Bangkok. This development supports increasing demand for certified flight training while maintaining high operational safety standards.

Acron Aviation will be at the Asia Pacific Aviation Training Summit (APATS) in Singapore from 26-27 August at booth 408 to share more about their training solutions.
