HAVELSAN has signed a training systems agreement with UAE-based defense company Calidus for its B-250 light attack aircraft. The deal was formalized at IDEF 2025 and builds on an earlier protocol signed at SAHA EXPO in October 2023.
Under the agreement, HAVELSAN will deliver a range of training technologies to support B-250 pilot readiness, including a flight training device (FTD), part task trainers (PTTs), a computer-based training system (CBT), a cockpit entry/exit simulator (CIES), and briefing/debriefing stations.
Managing Director and Calidus CEO Dr. Khalifa Albooshi highlighted that selection of HAVELSAN as a training solution provider for B-250 will ensure high-tech and modern training solutions for Calidus customers and will train the next-generation of pilots in line with B-250’s operational capabilities.
“Through our international partnerships, we aim to sustainably expand the global footprint of Turkish defense technology exports," said HAVELSAN General Manager Dr. Mehmet Akif Nacar. "By leveraging fully indigenous capabilities, we are proud to offer modern, integrated, and reliable solutions to meet the B-250 platform's training requirements."
