Center Air Pilot Academy (CAPA) has installed a Simnest B737 FNPT II MCC simulator at its Danish facility, expanding training capacity alongside two existing Simnest A320 simulators.
The simulator, delivered in November 2025, has received approval from the Danish Civil Aviation Authorities and will support training for CAPA's airline partners, including Scandinavian Airlines and Norwegian.
The installation represents CAPA's third Simnest device, extending a partnership that began nearly a decade ago. The academy currently operates two Simnest A320 FNPT II MCC simulators.
"High-quality training tools are essential for developing high-quality pilots," said Jens Frost, CEO of Center Air Pilot Academy. "This is why, when expanding our simulator fleet, we once again turned to our long-standing partner, Simnest Aviation."
The B737 simulator will also serve as Simnest Aviation's first Boeing-based demonstration unit for prospective customers.
FNPT II MCC (Flight and Navigation Procedures Trainer Level II, Multi-Crew Cooperation) devices provide airlines and training organisations with certified simulation for multi-crew operations training and type rating preparation.
