Elixir Aircraft has converted its first US pre-order into a firm purchase, with Florida flight school Cirrus Aviation Services committing to 10 two-seat trainers seven months after the French manufacturer received FAA Part 23 certification.

Cirrus Aviation, a Sarasota-based training organization operating for over 30 years, will take delivery of the first two aircraft in Spring 2026. The purchase supports the school's fleet renewal strategy.

Elixir say they have over 200 pre-orders in the US market and is establishing a reassembly facility in Sarasota to support North American deliveries.

"A big thank you to Cirrus Aviation, who, convinced of the advantages that the Elixir brings to the new generation of pilots, has always supported us," Elixir president and co-founder Arthur Leopold-Leger said.

"We can't wait to see the first Elixir flying in the skies of Florida."

The manufacturer received its FAA certification in July 2025, enabling US sales of the composite two-seat trainer.

"We plan to operate the Elixir on an intensive schedule and look forward to evaluating its performance, both operationally and financially," said David Cattin, Cirrus Aviation president.
