Epic Flight Academy graduated its first class of Airframe and Powerplant aircraft mechanics from its Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport campus on December 4, 2025. Seventeen students completed the FAA-certified Part 147 program, and several have secured employment.
Epic COO and Aircraft Mechanic Program Director Josh Rawlins said, “We broke ground here in April 2023. This class of students began one year later in April 2024. To see them graduate now, fully qualified as A&Ps, is a real thrill.”
CVG Campus Director Jon Luck said, “These students trained for 19 months. Most of the training Is hands-on and working on actual aircraft. They learned how to inspect, repair, and maintain aircraft to FAA standards.”
The CVG campus currently has 12 full-time instructors training approximately 100 students. The next class is scheduled to begin on February 16, 2026.
Epic Flight Academy also operates an aircraft mechanic school in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and ten FAA Part 141 flight training schools across the United States.
