French flight training organisation Mermoz Academy has installed a third ALSIM AL250 FNPT II simulator at its Tours base, bringing total ALSIM devices at the school to four.

The SEP/MEP reconfigurable simulator features switchable classic and glass cockpit configurations and supports PPL, CPL, and IR/ME training programs.

"Having several simulators of the same model allows us to ensure equipment uniformity, guaranteeing a consistent training experience," said David Crochet, General Manager of Mermoz Academy.

ALSIM reports more than 100 AL250 units installed globally. The Tours-based device joins Mermoz Academy's existing AL250 fleet supporting ab-initio and advanced pilot training at the school's three French locations.
