New DA-42 Simulator Installed in Thailand

ELITE Simulation Solutions installed a Diamond DA-42 FAA FTD Level 5 / EASA FNPT II flight training device at Nakhon Phanom University (NPU) in Thailand. This is the third DA-42 simulator delivered by ELITE to Thailand in 2025.

The simulator provides students and flight training personnel with certified simulation capabilities, helping bridge theoretical instruction with real-world flight experience in a controlled environment. It expands ELITE’s presence in Thailand and supports the country’s aviation training infrastructure.

The DA-42 FTD5 / FNPT II features EASA FNPT II and FAA AATD / Level 5 certification, Garmin G1000 / G1000 NXi replica avionics, and a compact footprint suitable for diverse training environments. Visual system options include curved projection displays, and the device supports logging of training hours toward PPL, CPL, IR, and ATPL credit. The simulator can be converted to a DA-40 configuration if needed.

ELITE provided full onsite installation, calibration, and operator training at NPU and continues to support updates and re-certification.
