Crosby Aviation Training, part of the T-C-Alliance group, was reviewed in a recent OFSTED audit, which identified key aspects of its training provision for airline Operations and Crew Control personnel. The Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills (OFSTED) highlighted key strengths across curriculum design, teaching quality, and learner support.
The report noted marked improvements in apprenticeship provision, with a curriculum that effectively addresses aviation industry skills gaps. Training programmes are structured to begin with core knowledge before progressing to specialised content aligned with operational needs.
The OFSTED report noted the use of interactive, face-to-face workshops and real-world scenarios in the training delivery. These methods were observed to support apprentice understanding and skills development. These methods contribute directly to learners’ progress and their readiness for operational roles.
Crosby Aviation Training’s governance and support systems were also recognised. The audit found that apprentices receive consistent oversight and tailored support, helping them stay on track and achieve their goals.
These outcomes reflect the collaborative approach between the training provider and airline Operations and Crew Scheduling teams, ensuring alignment between training delivery and industry expectations.
