Simaero has selected Hinfact as its platform provider to support the training group's transition to full Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) across its global network.
Under the agreement, Simaero will integrate Hinfact's digital tools into its training services framework to support CBTA course design and implementation. The platform will enable structured competency assessment, real-time data feedback, and compliance with ICAO standards.
"This collaboration is part of our global transition toward the CBTA training paradigm across all our services," said Patrice Galinier, Group Training Director at Simaero. "By introducing Hinfact's solution into our ecosystem, we are providing our training experts with a powerful, intuitive tool that facilitates both course design and implementation."
While Simaero retains full responsibility for course content and design, the Hinfact platform provides a foundation for scalable CBTA implementation. The platform's flexibility, user-friendly interface, and data analytics capabilities align with Simaero's operational needs.
"Our philosophy has always been to create tools that amplify pedagogical expertise rather than impose it," said Thomas Bessière, CEO at Hinfact. "Simaero maintains control over content and design, while we provide them with the technological power and flexibility to bring their own CBTA vision to life."
Simaero operates five training centres in France, South Africa, China and India, training over 5,000 pilots annually from 250+ civil and military carriers across 80+ countries.
