FlightLogger is using EATS 2026 to launch three new features for flight schools: Suggested Scheduling, Maintenance Hub and Wingman, an AI assistant built into FlightLogger.

Flight schools are under pressure to train more pilots with the same aircraft, instructors and staff, yet FlightLogger’s customers schedule flight training about four days out on average. Schedules are pieced together by hand, maintenance lives in separate tools, and the answers schools need are buried in reports.

With Suggested Scheduling, the scheduler picks the students and the days, and FlightLogger builds a complete draft schedule. It plans the students who are furthest behind first and checks every booking against the school’s own rules: prerequisites, aircraft model requirements, instructor qualifications and availability. Nothing is published until a scheduler has reviewed and approved it. The feature was developed with launch partner schools FlyOz, Canavia, Leading Edge and Professional Aviation.

“Scheduling is safety-critical, so there will always be a human in the loop,” said Michael Rasmussen, Product Manager at FlightLogger. “The system enforces the school’s rules. The scheduler spends less time building the schedule and more time approving it.”

Maintenance Hub brings maintenance tracking, work orders, parts and inventory, certification tracking and logbooks into a platform that works with FlightLogger. Training and maintenance teams work from the same aircraft status.

Wingman lets staff ask questions in plain language and get answers from their own school’s data.

“The most exciting features we’re launching this year, and probably in many years.” That’s how CEO Kasper Valgren describes it.

All three launches will be shown for the first time at FlightLogger’s stand at EATS on 4 November.

FlightLogger will be exhibiting at the European Aviation Training Summit (EATS), 3–5 November at the Estoril Congress Centre in Cascais, Portugal, at Booth 115. Stop by to learn more.
