The Train the Trainer (TTT) program was conducted at the Indian Aviation Academy (IAA) in New Delhi, focusing on strengthening instructional capability within India’s aviation sector. The four-day program was organised by IFOA India and brought together professionals involved in training, safety, operations, and regulatory compliance.

The program was led by Kenneth Kronborg, aviation trainer and Chief Operating Officer of the International Flight Operations Academy (IFOA), alongside Capt. Sudarshan Pandey, Managing Partner at IFOA India. The inaugural session included participation from Senthilvel Balasubramanian, General Manager of Training at the Indian Aviation Academy.

Participants represented a broad range of aviation functions, including oversight of training and documentation standards, OCC documentation management, training records administration, quality inspections, IOSA preparation, and emergency procedure reviews. The group also included flight safety professionals, CRM practitioners, cabin crew trainers, operations personnel, former Air Force officers, and aviation professionals preparing for instructional or facilitation roles.

The curriculum covered instructional design, adult learning principles, assessment methodologies, communication practices, and trainer self-assessment. Sessions examined how training outcomes relate to operational safety and regulatory compliance. Interactive classroom activities addressed communication clarity, listening skills, and learner engagement in operational environments.

The mixed professional background of participants contributed to shared discussion and exchange of operational perspectives throughout the program. The sessions provided opportunities for participants to engage with peers from different aviation disciplines while applying instructional concepts to real-world training contexts.
