UWing Simulation debuted its new-generation eVTOL full-flight simulator at the 2025 International Advanced Air Mobility Expo, held July 23–26 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. The expo, themed “Launching the Low-Altitude Economy, Empowering Thousands of Industries,” attracted nearly 300 exhibitors and over 55,000 visitors, highlighting developments in UAVs, eVTOLs, aviation simulation, and related fields.

UWing’s simulator was designed for next-generation low-altitude pilot training and features an enclosed 1:1 cockpit, dual-screen avionics, and a Garmin G5 backup instrument. Its control system includes a three-axis fly-by-wire stick and a high-precision Hall sensor that allows for accurate control feedback. A six-cylinder motion platform enables simulation of pitch, roll, yaw, and other in-flight sensations.

The simulator also includes proprietary software with independently developed flight dynamics models and a domestic visual engine. It creates a realistic low-altitude environment using satellite imagery, detailed 3D urban modeling, and a dynamic weather system that simulates changing meteorological conditions. The instructor station allows for scenario customization, real-time GPS tracking, and multiple glide path setups to support standardized and emergency response training.

Beyond professional pilot training, the simulator is also suited for engineering testing, academic research, university aviation programs, and public education. According to UWing, the system’s integrated design supports safety and training needs in the growing low-altitude aviation sector, reinforcing the foundation for scalable and secure air mobility development.
