Arotech Corporation's Training and Simulation Division (ATSD) has announced that $10.6 million of support options for its US Army Virtual Clearance Training Suite (VCTS) and US Air National Guard Boom Operator Simulation System (BOSS) programs have been exercised. These options for FY2016 support are currently funded to $3.4 million, with the remaining $7.2 million expected to be incrementally funded by the end of 2016.

The support option provided includes on-site operator and maintenance personnel in addition to hardware and software support of the installed systems. VCTS is currently installed at 27 Army bases worldwide and continues to be upgraded to match actual methods and equipment used in the route clearance mission. BOSS has recently been certified by the US Air Force for boom operator training missions in lieu of actual flight time. Training systems have been delivered to 11 of the 16 Air National Guard Refueling Wings with the remaining systems expected to be completed by mid-2016.
