Macquarie University and PLEXSYS have partnered to integrate artificial intelligence agents into ASCOT 7, PLEXSYS’ Command and Control (C2) training and simulation platform. The collaboration aims to improve human-machine teaming in complex operational environments through AI-driven processing within the system.

For PLEXSYS, this integration enhances ASCOT 7’s capabilities and broadens its application in domestic and international defence contexts. Macquarie University gains a practical platform to apply AI research, supporting student engagement with emerging defence technologies and promoting academic-industry collaboration.

The Australian Defence Force is expected to benefit from more efficient decision-making, improved data interpretation, and enhanced interoperability through the system’s real-time processing of complex tactical information.

“This partnership represents a powerful convergence of academic excellence, technological innovation, and national defence priorities. "Together, we are shaping the future of military simulation and training.” said Robert Miller, Director PLEXSYS Australia.
