Aurizn has released Infinite Studio 4.2, the latest version of its Australian-developed platform for creating virtual environments used in defence testing, training, and mission preparation.
Infinite Studio is currently deployed by the United Kingdom's Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl), US Government agencies, and major defence companies. The platform allows users to model how terrain, infrastructure, sensors, and environmental conditions interact in operational settings.
Rebecca Humble, Chief Executive Officer, Aurizn, said: "Defence organisations are increasingly relying on synthetic environments to reduce risk, accelerate capability development and prepare for complex operational scenarios before committing resources in the real world."
Version 4.2 introduces several updates: new volumetric cloud placement tools for creating custom cloud regions; Direct View Lights technology, allowing simulated cameras to capture radiance directly from light sources rather than only reflected light; expanded support for synthetic test and evaluation workflows; faster scenario generation through new multispectral landscape and asset packs; improved interoperability with other modelling and simulation systems; and greater scalability for large-area and multi-domain environments.
