VIPER WING provided its F35U 2026 unclassified 5th gen cockpit representation to support the reveal of Varjo’s refreshed XR-4 Series mixed reality headsets, designed for mission-critical training across air, land, and sea. The cockpit was used in Varjo’s official video and photography materials, demonstrating how the XR-4 Series can be integrated into next-generation training platforms.
The XR-4 Series headsets are purpose-built to integrate into cockpit trainers, vehicle simulators, and ground training systems, addressing the global demand for scalable, safe, and realistic training. The refreshed headsets feature a redesigned fit for high-intensity training, visual passthrough optimized for cockpit scenarios, inside-out and SteamVR tracking, advanced hand occlusion, a dedicated night mode, and AI-powered passthrough with gaze prediction. Long-term operational support is planned through 2030, ensuring the devices can meet the requirements of large-scale deployments.
This collaboration also highlights VIPER WING’s role in demonstrating the practical application of the unclassified cockpits within advanced mixed reality training environments.
