At IDEF 2025 defense expo in Istanbul, FSDC Aerosolutions unveiled a next-generation flight training simulator that was reported to be turning heads for its versatility. The AeroFussion-Hybrid Infinity flight simulator is a compact 6 DOF motion-enabled system that supports both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft training within the same platform.
MS&T was told that during the recent IDEF, the AeroFussion-Hybrid Infinity, developed by FSDC AeroSolutions, is being marketed in partnership with Gürbüz Trade Defence and Aviation MRO. An FSDC spokesperson pointed out the training device drew steady attention at this defense expo for one standout feature: it doesn’t just replicate one aircraft type, it adapts. “With the flip of a switch, trainees can transition between fixed-wing and rotary-wing platforms, as the system dynamically adjusts flight models, visuals, and cockpit behavior in real time.”
During IDEF, FSDC Aerosolutions showcased the VR simulator configured for the Super Mushshak trainer aircraft, complete with a high-fidelity flight model and cockpit layout based on real-world performance data. With the Turkish Air Force recently inducting 52 Super Mushshaks from Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, the display was particularly relevant.
“We designed this with real operational needs in mind,” said the Chief Design Engineer at FSDC Aerosolutions. “Whether you're flying a trainer or a helicopter, the same system adapts to support both, without changing out the hardware.”
The Super Mushshak configuration was a clear highlight, but the simulator’s broader capability is what sets it apart, the FSDC spokesperson emphasized. FSDC has developed its own custom flight models for both aircraft and helicopters, along with realistic scenery environments tailored for different mission profiles and regions.
System highlights provided by the FSDC Aerosolutions spokesperson include:
Officials from Gürbüz Trade and Aviation MRO confirmed the partnership aims to deliver locally supported, technically robust training solutions adaptable to various platforms.
For military aviation and flight schools looking to maximize training value through a single, flexible system, the AeroFussion-Hybrid Infinity presents a compelling option according to the
FSDC Aerosolutions spokesperson as it is adaptable, immersive, and built with operational realism at its core.
