Simthetiq was selected to support multiple NATO training and simulation initiatives across land, air, and remotely piloted aircraft system environments during 2025.
For the Netherlands Armed Forces, Simthetiq supported deployment of the modernized TACTIS training system by adapting high-fidelity 3D Simulation Entity Models for use within a new Unreal Engine-based image generation and simulation environment. The company leveraged its Unreal Engine plugins to ensure efficient adaptation and deployment of existing 3D sources into the updated system architecture.
Simthetiq’s 3D Simulation Entity Model Library was also selected by a major aerospace and defense provider for integration into a NATO Remotely Piloted Aircraft System program focused on AI-based object detection and classification. To support synthetic data generation, customized 3D models were integrated into a commercial image generator with a physics-based thermal imagery solution. This enabled production of labeled synthetic imagery across Day, LWIR, and MWIR sensor types to support training and validation of target recognition and EO/IR classification algorithms.
In a separate NATO Air Force program, Simthetiq was chosen to deliver immersive, geo-specific Air Base training environments for emergency response and fire vehicle teams. The environments were integrated into a third-party simulation platform and included detailed terrain modeling of active runways, taxiways, aprons, lighting systems, markings, military infrastructure, and airport buildings. These environments were developed as part of the Simthetiq content library and were made compatible with leading image-generation and serious-game engine formats for use across flight simulation, air traffic control, and ground operations training applications.
Together, these engagements reflected Simthetiq’s role supporting synthetic training content development across NATO defense programs involving live simulation platforms, immersive training environments, and artificial intelligence development systems.
Simthetiq is currently exhibiting its simulation and training solutions at I/ITSEC, booth #1101.
