Quantum3D has delivered visual simulation systems to Uruguay, marking the company’s entry into a new South American market.

The systems feature Quantum3D’s MANTIS real-time image generation and visual/sensor simulation software, running on Independence IDX 910 Image Generator hardware, with multi-channel rendering for military aviation training applications.

The project includes an eight-channel out-the-window (OTW) visual system and two-channel electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) simulation capabilities, supporting visual and sensor-based training scenarios across a range of operational conditions.

Quantum3D is also developing a customized visual database for the project. The database is nearing completion and will provide geographic terrain and environmental content.

“Uruguay represents an important new market for Quantum3D and another step in strengthening our presence across South America,” said Murat Kose, CEO of Quantum3D.

Quantum3D already has a presence in South America, including Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Chile.
