Quantum3D and Norxe AS have announced a new integrated capability that enhances the performance and realism of advanced training and simulation systems. Quantum3D’s MANTIS Image Generator software now provides native support for Norxe’s P55 and P60 projectors, enabling 8K resolution output at 240Hz using Norxe’s 4-way n-shift technology. The system allows four 4K @60Hz MANTIS channels to drive a single projector, improving image clarity and reducing motion blur or double-imaging artifacts.
MANTIS includes multiple 240Hz processing modes, including interpolation for accuracy, extrapolation for reduced latency, and a hybrid mode that balances both, supporting optimal performance even when simulation hosts operate at 60Hz. The integration also supports Norxe’s optional dedicated IR channel for NVG stimulation, allowing users to switch between 120Hz NVG operation and 240Hz daylight modes.
Quantum3D and Norxe will be available at I/ITSEC 2025 in Orlando to discuss the capability. Attendees can visit Quantum3D at booth #1981 and Norxe at booth #1808 to see MANTIS and Norxe projector technologies on display.
