BAE Systems’ new Compass Call Mission Crew Simulator for the EA-37B electronic warfare aircraft has been approved for training by the U.S. Air Force and was delivered to support interim fielding. Developed with Textron Systems Corporation, the simulator provides a high-fidelity tactical environment that mirrors the complex scenarios crews may face in real operations.

"The Compass Call Mission Crew Simulator helps warfighters develop their expertise and maximize the effectiveness of the EA-37B, a critical mission system for dominating the electromagnetic spectrum," said Stephanie Fehling, director of Electronic Attack Solutions at BAE Systems. "We're driving warfighter readiness and helping EA-37B crews prepare for missions that require spectrum superiority."

The simulator replicates the EA-37B’s controls, displays, and systems, allowing crews to train in electronic warfare operations, mission planning, communication, and decision-making. It is available for use around the clock, reducing the need for live-flight training and improving aircraft availability for missions.

The EA-37B’s mission is to disrupt adversary communications, radar, and navigation systems to restrict enemy command and control capabilities, serving as a force multiplier for allied operations.
